Days 1, 2 and 3: Krakow
Krakow is the former capital of Poland. Well preserved during the wars, it is today one of the jewels of the country. I discovered Krakow in 2015 and have excellent memories of it. We travel to Krakow as soon as it is possible. We are always delighted to hang aroung the lively Kazimierz district. We enjoy the quantity of bars, cafes and restaurants that are the pride of the city.
The architecture of Krakow is very attractive. It offers a wide variety of visits for the visitor. In the region, Auschwitz makes it very special; an interesting opportunity to learn and understand contemporary European history. 15 km away from Krakow is also the unique visit to the Wieliczka salt mines with its underground cathedral. Finally, the old town, classified as a UNESCO heritage site for its “architectural ensemble of exceptional quality for both its urban landscape and its individual monuments” will delight your eyes. A visit to Wawel Castle is a must and we even recommend the discovery of the crown treasures.

Warsaw, the capital of Poland, is an ultra-dynamic city that will not disappoint you. I lived in Warsaw between 2015 and 2017. In two years, I discovered the diversity and attractivity of this multifaceted city.
In recent years, Warsaw experienced an important economic boom. It created a very special energy. The Sky Line continues to expand. The Vistula banks have been renovated. Museums are continually expanding. Gastronomy and nightlife are starting to gain a reputation at the European level. In short words, these few days in Warsaw will undoubtedly allow you to understand the new page that Poland is writing for itself.
